Week 1 (Home MTC - Overland Park, KS) So Ready for Mexico MTC

How is everybody??

Saturday was my first P-day (preparation day or day off kinda)!! This week went by super fast! Some of the days felt super long but before I knew it, it was Friday and I had finished my first week of HOME MTC!!! 

Here’s how it went!

Everyday we had a workshop with 2 teacher sat the Prove MTC. Mondays workshop we talked about why we do Home MTC and our concerns about the MTC, our mission and everything we have to leave behind. One of the take-aways I got from it was, It’s okay to have concerns but if you bring them to the Lord he will help. Do your best, the Lords got the rest! Then I had my first Spanish class. I got to meet the missionaries in my district, and my companion, she is great! They’re all pretty great. We all get a long super well! But let me tell you I was so lost the entire time! My brain was full of information by the end of the class. Then I had my Preach my Gospel class, that class is super spiritual and I learned a lot of new information so my brain was extra full by the end of the day! I write in my journal for a little bit every night get ready for bed and then I say a prayer (in Spanish) and go to sleep. 

That’s pretty much how it went the rest of the week. We learned something new everyday and it was a lot of information to process haha! So far I think I’ve been doing well and I’ve enjoyed my home mtc experience but I am so ready to get to Mexico and learn in person and meet everyone in my district and my companion!

Something that spoke to me was in my preach my gospel class we talked a lot about our purpose as missionaries! I know my purpose to serve the Lord and the people of Florida and I am so excited to do so!

Week 36 of 78 (Orlando, Florida) Exciting News!!!

 Hola hola a todos!! This email is a little different and let me tell ya why! This week is transfers so when you're reading I will know if I'm staying in this area or leaving. Now here's why it's different, I actually know what's happening for me this transfer! I'm... gonna be a MOM (mission lingo), which means I'm training a new missionary! Now I don't know if I'm leaving or staying but it's my first time training so I'm praying I'm staying in Saint Cloud! But I'm super excited to have a mini me. Week 76 of 77 (Orlando, Florida) Mama I'm Coming Home (Tuesday!); All Things Are Possible Through Christ!

Dad's last post for his little girl. Hermana Bailey will post her final missionary blog post next week after returning home. Hola hola a todoossss!!! Como estan? I'm doing super great! This week was absolutely crazy, busy and full of MIRACLES!! soooo let's dive right in! 2nd to last email. Actually crazy. I'll be home next Tuesday Sweets: - sang at my last zone conference, turned out super good! - mlc was super good, received lots of revelation - we had 2 miracle baptisms for the zone this past week - I just love my companion so much, she's been helping me stay strong so well and I'm so thank full for her! - me and Hermana Barhurst both spoke in church and sang! So when one of us was speaking the other was translating and then I translated elders quorum and let me tell ya, that was pretty difficult but I managed with Gods help! - 3 friends came to church!
