Hermana Bailey's Orlando Florida Mission - Spanish Speaking

  ¡Hola! I can not believe I'm in FLORIDA!!!! I've only been here for a week but it's honestly felt like it's been so much longer, the time has gone by so fast! I absolutely love it here! But before I get into that let's start from the beginning, last Monday! Last Monday, I was still in the CCM but didn't have any classes just packing and little workshops both Monday and Tuesday. Monday night Hermana Bair and I said goodbye to most of our district which was so sad and I miss them but they're doing so great in their areas! Tuesday we said goodbye to our besties Hermana Dennis and Hermana Eller. We love them so so much and it was so sad saying goodbye but we all know it's not a goodbye it's a see you later! Then Hermana Bair, myself and 2 elders in our district were left and we left the CCM Wednesday morning! Me and Hermana Bair had the same flight with another Hermana! I got a window seat this flight which was so nice but I slept most of the way lol! ...

¡Hola! Honestly guys nothing very interesting has happened the past week. All of my days are the same everyday, so this will probably be a boring read! Oh I had to get a new phone, because my other ones camera wasn't working so yeah luckily I have most of my photos backed up onto my Google photos! One thing that happened this week that was super cool was so once every week we have an activity called "Helping Others" and what we do is prepare a lesson in all Spanish and teach someone over zoom or in person who may or may not be a member, just to practice before going to the field. So this specific one was a little later in the night and we get on the zoom and its a young man who I believe is 18. We accidentally didn't ask him if he was a member but anyways we get through the lesson, we thought we did terrible because our Español is still not very good lol! We didn't think much of it until the next day we had our Preach My Gospel class our teacher told us we taught ...

  ¡Hola! Not much of an update for this week, it's pretty much the same thing everyday, it kinda drags lol.  We had a devotional Tuesday night and me and one of my roommates sang Silent Night for a bunch of missionaries, it was pretty nerve racking but I think we did great!   I was pretty sick this week, so we didn't really do very much, we slept most of the days, but I'm getting better so that's good! But we were all pretty tired this week! We went to the temple Tuesday morning, it was so spiritual! I absolutely love the México City temple, it's so stunning!  Wednesday we go solo Español so no more responding in English! I don't have very good Spanish obviously lol so we will see how this goes! Pray for me!! This week we talked a lot about how Christ turns outward and we turn inwards and only think of ourselves. As I'm on this path of being a missionary, I think we think a lot about the sacrifice we are making to be a missionary but this mission is not for ...
