Week 6-7 (Orlando, Florida) FINALLY IN FLORIDA!!! (& Feliz Navidad)

 ¡Hola!

I can not believe I'm in FLORIDA!!!! I've only been here for a week but it's honestly felt like it's been so much longer, the time has gone by so fast! I absolutely love it here! But before I get into that let's start from the beginning, last Monday!

Last Monday, I was still in the CCM but didn't have any classes just packing and little workshops both Monday and Tuesday. Monday night Hermana Bair and I said goodbye to most of our district which was so sad and I miss them but they're doing so great in their areas! Tuesday we said goodbye to our besties Hermana Dennis and Hermana Eller. We love them so so much and it was so sad saying goodbye but we all know it's not a goodbye it's a see you later! Then Hermana Bair, myself and 2 elders in our district were left and we left the CCM Wednesday morning! Me and Hermana Bair had the same flight with another Hermana! I got a window seat this flight which was so nice but I slept most of the way lol! When we landed in Florida, we got our bags and got in a line to get out of the airport and saw another elder! Which happens to be the Elder I ward share with! Anyways we get out of the airport and are greeted by Sister King and the AP's(assistant to the president) Élder Santiago y Élder Humphrey, they're both pretty lit! We packed up into a van and drove to the mission office and had our interviews with the president and met 2 super sweet sisters and 2 elders one of which is the companion to the one we ward share with! Hermana Carmona y Hermana Idiart! They took us out with them and I gave away my first El Libro De Mormón!!! Then we had dinner at the President's house! Met a lot more missionaries.

This email is gonna be quite the long one so if you don't want to read just look at the pictures it pretty much sums everything up! I'm so excited to be here!

After dinner we stayed in a hotel and then went to the church the next morning to meet our trainers and let me tell you MY TRAINER IS THE BEST EVER!!! I love Hermana Idiart so very much!!! After that we took a picture and dropped my stuff at our apartment and went out! No time to unpack, straight to missionary work!

The week went to so good and we had so many lessons and met lots of new friends and some of are friends are on date to be baptized! So keep them in your prayers! It's so cool to see their progress in this amazing Gospel!

We also got a flat tire this week, thankfully Elder Bowers and Elder Zarate came to our rescue and put the spare on for us, it was a fun time! We also got spat at lol. This dude rolled his window down just to spit at us! It was honestly hilarious!

To wrap this very long email up! I am so grateful to be here, teaching people about the Gospel, It's amazing to see every one of our friends have the light of Christ in them! It's hard because my Spanish still isn't too good but everyday I learn more and more!

Feliz Navidad

- Your favorite Hermana (Bailey)

Email me, I'd love to hear from you!  gabriella.bailey@missionary.org

I also was able to see a fellow Hermana in the mission field. She is the sister of a friend in my home ward serving in the same mission. So cool.
