Week 25 (Orlando, Florida) Transferred!!! (new comp... old comp???)

Hola hola a todos!!!


Transfer news: drumroll please.....I WAS TRANSFERRED


I live in Saint Cloud, Florida now and my new area is called Hickory Tree East! It's a bigger area than my last area and so it's been so fun and SURPRISE my new companion is my companion from the MTC!! La Hermana Bair!!


It is so crazy that we are back together especially this early. I had a feeling we would be comps again but not this soon that's for sure but so far it's been so fun! And if you guys remember my trainer Hermana Idiart, she is now in my district, my STL and we ward share(which means we have the same time church so i get to see her every sunday)!! So that means we can go on exchanges and run it back


Bueno ahora......let's begin


Dulces:

- Transfers obvi

- got to see lots of people at transfers so that was super fun

- we have a few friends who have accepted a baptismal date!!! So keep them in your prayers!!!

- Saint cloud is a gorgeous place but apparently there are lots of fires that happen so a lot of the time when we wake up, it's very smoky outside or through the day it'll start smelling like smoke and we'll see where it's coming from, usually a fire but never to close to us, so that's good


Agrios(sours):

- had to say goodbye to Osouth zone and all my besties that are there, i miss them tons but excited for a new area, new zone, and new district!!

That's really the only sour but it's a big one because those missionaries have become some of my lifelong friends and leaving them was so hard! But this transfer is gonna be so good!


Pensamiento espiritual:

With my message above, I wanna talk about change. Now I have not always been a fan of change, it's scary and nerve-wracking but in one of my personal studies this week I read a general conference talk in April 2023 titled Finding Personal Peace by Henry B. Eyring, now let me tell you when I was sobbing while reading this, I was SOBBING!!! It was one of my first personal studies after transfers and I was feeling very very anxious but I read this talk and He read a scripture that's from the Book of John. The verse says;

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


Now when I read this I knew it that moment that I was going to be okay and that change is a good thing and I better get used to it because as missionaries change happens ALL THE TIME! And so now I know for the next time things change that I am not a lone and I need not be afraid.

Week 36 of 78 (Orlando, Florida) Exciting News!!!

 Hola hola a todos!! This email is a little different and let me tell ya why! This week is transfers so when you're reading I will know if I'm staying in this area or leaving. Now here's why it's different, I actually know what's happening for me this transfer! I'm... gonna be a MOM (mission lingo), which means I'm training a new missionary! Now I don't know if I'm leaving or staying but it's my first time training so I'm praying I'm staying in Saint Cloud! But I'm super excited to have a mini me. Week 76 of 77 (Orlando, Florida) Mama I'm Coming Home (Tuesday!); All Things Are Possible Through Christ!

Dad's last post for his little girl. Hermana Bailey will post her final missionary blog post next week after returning home. Hola hola a todoossss!!! Como estan? I'm doing super great! This week was absolutely crazy, busy and full of MIRACLES!! soooo let's dive right in! 2nd to last email. Actually crazy. I'll be home next Tuesday Sweets: - sang at my last zone conference, turned out super good! - mlc was super good, received lots of revelation - we had 2 miracle baptisms for the zone this past week - I just love my companion so much, she's been helping me stay strong so well and I'm so thank full for her! - me and Hermana Barhurst both spoke in church and sang! So when one of us was speaking the other was translating and then I translated elders quorum and let me tell ya, that was pretty difficult but I managed with Gods help! - 3 friends came to church!
